BRONZE MEDAL AWARD The American Rose Society established the ARS Bronze Medal in the spring of 1994. The purpose of this award is to recognize outstanding and meritorious service at the local Society level. A recipient must be an active member of the American Rose Society. The honoree must have demonstrated outstanding contributions to our society as well as the American Rose Society. It is the highest award that can be bestowed upon a member of the Tri-State Rose Society of Chattanooga. At our annual banquet in December, President Cindy Garrett awarded the 2010 Bronze Medal to Jeanne O'Steen. Cindy noted that Jeanne has been an active member of our society for several years and has given her time and talent without reservation to help us grow and spread the word about our great hobby of growing roses. Jeanne and Roger have graciously opened their garden for our Roses Garden Tour. She has devoted many hours and lots of hard work in helping us with the rose garden at Veterans Park. Jeanne has served our society as Vice President and is a Consulting Rosarian. Finally, Cindy acknowledged all the hard work Jeanne has done in maintaining our outstanding website at chattanoogarose.org. Congratulations, Jeanne
